Sokka and Toph attempt to help Aang find the Fire Lord during the eight-and-a-half-minute eclipse, but Azula succeeds in stalling them. Meanwhile, Zuko confronts his father and vows to help Aang defeat him, causing Ozai to attempt to kill his son. In the meantime, Iroh escapes from jail. The invasion force is repelled and their submarines destroyed, forcing Aang and the younger children to abandon the warriors, who are captured by the Fire Nation.
